Between Generations Interviews

The Between Generations project of Girl Guides of PEI is best represented in the interviews completed by numerous Guides across the Island. It was a great way to for the Guides of today to also connect with the past Guides and help document the evolution of Island Guiding throughout the decades.

JUDY NANTES

• She was a Brownie, Guide, Pathfinders and Junior Leader
• Brownies was a four year program when she attended.
• Some service projects she has done are caroling in Seniors homes, serving at the soup kitchen, roadside clean-up in May
• Sold cookies door to door for $2.50 a box
• Greatest memory was her trip to England-camped for one week with girls from all over the world and she is still close friends with these girls.
• She stayed one night at Olave House
• Wonderful friendships can be formed through Girl Guides.
