Between Generations Interviews

The Between Generations project of Girl Guides of PEI is best represented in the interviews completed by numerous Guides across the Island. It was a great way to for the Guides of today to also connect with the past Guides and help document the evolution of Island Guiding throughout the decades.

• She was not involved as a girl.
• Carolyn became a Brownie Leader in 1978/79 for a couple of years.
• She held meeting in the United Church basement in Hunter River on Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8 pm
• Started Guides in 1985/86 with Audrey Weigers, they did the pilot program.
• She took the Guides camping at Camp Riverdale.
• To fundraise had hosted spaghetti lunch, pancake breakfast and a tea party at Christmas time.
